Installing a toilet in an existing basement can be done by almost anyone, although having a helper for some larger chores is a good idea. Chinese toilets are not very heavy, but they are very bulky, making it a little difficult to try them out on the floor flange alone. Most of the other jobs are real work but done by a dedicated person. Often, the only problem doing your own thing is the fear that it will be difficult. There will indeed be challenges with this underground bath, but it is impossible for people who want to jump in the house and do it.

The steps of this project are simple and logical. First, adjust the plan by considering the location of the plumbing fixture in the house so that the new bathroom can be a part of it. Build the shower by adding the drain and then placing the cabin and shower tray, then the walls and floor. Next, make sure the shut-off valves for the sink and toilet pipes are soldered and secure.

At this stage of the program, the decision is made to use a regular toilet or a quick wash. A typical toilet should be plugged directly into the sewer or septic system, while a short pet can be done without the need for an initial drain. Both methods work perfectly, the pace of life is a little easier, and a regular toilet has fewer parts to break or break. This choice is a personal choice, but some feel that the Murphy problem is leaning towards the traditional bathroom as a more straightforward mechanism with fewer moving parts.

If you use any toilet, carefully follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions during installation. Ensure that all PVC drains and vents are piped and that the water warning wiring is installed according to the specifications in the manual. For a regular toilet, make sure the flange is correctly seated on the floor and the bathroom is securely attached to it. Hook the water pipe and make sure the lines are not leaking anywhere.

Put on the sink, dishwasher, drain, tap, and check that the water stays where it should be and not on the floor. Turn on the lights and switches to make sure the electrical wiring and other stuff are done with the power outage in the area. Install the exit fan and make sure it works properly.

Make sure the septic tank is safe and does not have an unpleasant smell that can leak somewhere. Paint what needs to be painted, put the decorations on, and then call friends and celebrate the final product!
