A typical failure in dishwashers is to find it with water inside at the end of the wash cycle. If your device is in this state there are several tests that you can perform before calling technical service, and try the repair yourself.

The main causes of this issue are:

– Bent drain hose
– A blockage in the pipes of the house or hose
– An obstruction in the drain pump
– A power failure of the electronic module

– Check drain hose

Verify that the drain tube is not bent. If you have moved the dishwasher to clean the place, you may have folded the hose when you put it back in place. To check, remove the dishwasher from its insertion point and see if the hose has any creases. If you notice any pronounced fold, try to gently smash it with your hand to remove it, without breaking the hose, then start the “washing program” and when it’s full of water, reset the dishwasher.

– Check pipe or hose obstruction:

Another issue could be that the drain hose is clogged, or the obstruction is in the housing drain system.

– Check pump blockage:

The filter is clogged or some object is locking the drain pump propeller. Pay attention to noises when the pump starts.

If you do not hear even the slightest sound, it may be stuck with an object that has been able to pass the filter and reach the propeller (this is a fairly common issue) or that electricity is not reaching the pump, if the problem of Dishwasher is in the drain pump, it’s best to change it. Don’t waste time cleaning or greasing it because it will surely fail again and you’ll have to disassemble your dishwasher again.

– Electronic module breakdown:

If you don’t hear any noises at the beginning of the wash program, and find no obstruction, check that the pump connection terminals are running. Use a tester, and remember to ALWAYS UNPLUG the dishwasher before handling any electric component!
